This is a formal agreement and application for CSU Fullerton faculty, staff, and students, or pre-authorized external partners, to request and/or approve a website for archiving.

To administer our web archive and preserve web contents for future use, California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) requires certain permissions from you, the depositor.

By agreeing to this license, you grant to California State University, Fullerton the non-exclusive right to archive, reproduce and/or distribute your submission and its future iterations (including the metadata and supporting documentation) worldwide, in any format or medium for non-commercial, research, educational, or related academic purposes only, subject to any agreed upon embargoes. CSUF will clearly identify your name(s) as the depositor(s) of the submission, and will not make any alteration, other than as allowed by this license, to your submission.

You further agree that CSUF may translate the submission to any medium or format and keep more than one copy for the purposes of security, back up and long-term preservation of the scholarly record.

By agreeing to this license:
• You represent and warrant that you are the author or copyright holder, or that you have authorization from the author or copyright owner to grant the rights contained in this license.
• You represent and warrant that the submission does not, to the best of your knowledge, infringe upon the copyright or intellectual property rights of any other person.
• You represent and warrant that the submission contains no libelous or other unlawful matter, makes no improper invasion of the privacy of any other person, and contains no confidential or sensitive information.
• If the submission contains material for which you do not hold copyright and that exceeds fair use, you represent and warrant that you have obtained the unrestricted permission of the copyright owner to grant CSUF the rights required by this license, and that such third-party owned material is clearly identified and acknowledged within the submission.
• If the submission is based upon work that has been sponsored or supported by an external agency, organization, or private funder, you represent and warrant that you have fulfilled any right of review, confidentiality, or other obligations required by that contract or agreement.
• If others have rights to manage the release of data in this submission, for example others involved with the grant, or research activity, whether at CSUF or at another institution, you represent and warrant that their unrestricted permission has been obtained to deposit this data.
