Global Brigades is a major nonprofit organization focused on providing sustainable and ethical healthcare to underserved communities around the world.

Emory's Medical and Dental Chapter leads an annual trip to Honduras to provide comprehensive medical and dental services to rural communities through a free clinic. In Honduras, our goal is to empower underserved populations sustainably (we are not a form of voluntourism)! We work alongside licensed healthcare professionals to gain clinical experience, shadowing opportunities and to learn more about global healthcare.

Throughout the year, our organization will be focusing on preparing for our brigade as well as holding virtual events for the Emory Community to learn more about international medicine and health disparities.
