As every BCT event, the Nearly New Sale can only exist thanks to the work of volunteers like you, members and non-members of the BCT who give some of their time to prepare and run the sale.

Proceeds from the sale help to keep the various BCT services and programmes running including rental costs of our centres, to buy toys and equipment for playgroups, and educational material for prenatal courses, Pregnancy in Belgium sessions and First Aid classes.

It is a true community event and just amazing to see what can be achieved when people are committed to make something happen. Everyone is welcome to join in this wonderful team of helpers for an afternoon or the whole weekend. This is an excellent volunteering occasion for those that don’t have time for a regular commitment and want to buy gently used children items at a fraction of the price.

All volunteers get to shop for 45 minutes before the sale opens to the public. This a great chance to find some fantastic bargains while shopping in a calm setting with fellow volunteers. The more shifts you volunteer, the more items you can purchase:

Saturday 14 March – AM – Timing: 8:30 - 13:30 (5 hours) - This shift is only for BCT members!
Shopping benefits: 20 items + 1 large item

Saturday 14 March – PM – Timing: 13:00 - 18:00 (5 hours)
Shopping benefits: 35 items + 1 large item

Saturday 14 March – AM & PM – Timing: 10:00 - 18:00 (8 hours)
Shopping benefits: 55 items + 2 large items
