What suggestions do you have for “Building Capacity of Parents”? What do parents need to know in order to help their children be successful in school?
Family Engagement events--Childcare can be provided to events at school. Are there other ideas you may have to make it more convenient for parents to attend?
Student Achievement--These were areas our school leadership teams identified as needing improvements:  Literacy-need to continue focus on writing and reading stamina Math-focus on multi-step math problems and equations Concern with science achievement scores on Milestones (Middle School level and hands on application). What are some concerns and/or suggestions that you have in relation to these areas?
Perception/Culture/School Climate--These were areas our school leadership teams identified as needing improving: Student respect/peer relationships-(Social Emotional Learning-SEL). Overall survey results suggest positive cultures in schools, but some comments suggest further investigation on why parents do not feel we communicate effectively and why we are having problems with positive peer relationships and respect. PBIS incentives in schools need to be reviewed for effectiveness. Seeing escalating behaviors in lower grades such as vaping. What are some concerns and/or suggestions that you have in relation to these areas?
