Teichler 2020 - 2021 Band Consortium Registration

Consortium members are part of a joint effort to commission a new concert band piece from composer R. Christopher Teichler. Completion of this registration assumes your willingness to be part of this consortium, and you will be sent an official contract. The deadline for registration (and, for any reason, withdrawal from consortium) is July 31, 2020. The Buy-In for this consortium is $100.

Details of the Commissioned Piece:
- Composition will be for Grade 3 Concert Band, 3:00 - 4:00 duration.
- Energetic, driving, Celebratory feel throughout.
- With the COVID-19 pandemic drastically affecting and changing our world, the piece will be a hopeful reminder of perseverance and optimism in the face of unprecedented difficulty. A Spring 2021 target premier for your band could be ideal in this respect.

The following schedule will be followed:
- Commitment Date - July 31, 2020
- Contracts signed and submitted - August 15, 2020
- Piece delivered by - December 15, 2020

Payment Schedule - The $100 Buy-In will be due by December 31, 2020

I understand that I may withdraw from this Consortium before July 31, 2020, but that after July 31, 2020 I will be expected to sign a formal contract committing me and my ensemble to the Consortium. - A Zoom rehearsal with composer (In-person visit/rehearsal for schools in the greater Wichita, KS area).
