SRWA Student Lateral Flow Home COVID Testing Results 2021/22
Thank you for registering your child's lateral flow test (LFT) result.

It is recommended that students do 2 tests a week, at intervals of 3-5 days. Detailed instructions on how to use the test and how to report results to the NHS Test and Trace Database are included in the pack that you have been provided with.

In addition to reporting to the NHS Test and Trace system, we are also required to keep a separate record of test results here in school, in order to complete analysis of the numbers of tests and positive results to report to Public Health England.

To do this, please log every result (whether it is Positive, Negative or Void/Invalid) on this secure form as soon as you can after taking the test.

You will need the test ID number printed on the body of the test itself (below the QR Code) to do this.

If the test returns a Positive result, we would also ask that you do the following:-

- Ensure that your child begins self-isolation immediately.

- Contact NHS Test and Trace to obtain a PCR test to confirm the positive result. You must self-isolate as guided by them, unless your child's follow-up PCR test returns as negative, which would allow a return to normal if your child feels well.

See information on this website https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance/stay-at-home-guidance-for-households-with-possible-coronavirus-covid-19-infection for details

- Contact us immediately at studentabsence@srwa.co.uk and alert us to the positive result, so that we can adjust attendance codes accordingly
