MontCo Wrestling Club RTC
The MontCo Wrestling Club US Olympic Regional Training Center is open to all USA Wrestling members who meet the USA Wrestling Criteria as a National Team Contender.
 
There is no cost for attending an RTC practice.
 
All RTC practices are Freestyle/Greco-Roman

All wrestlers participating in the RTC practice must meet one of the stated criteria below and must be current athlete members of USA Wrestling. All RTC athletes must be in good standing with the both the RTC and the RTC host site.

- Won at least one match at a Senior USAW World or Olympic Team Trials
- Placed top 8 at USAW Senior Open Championships
- Placed top 8 at USAW U23 National Championships
- Placed top 8 at UWW Junior National Championships
- Placed top 8 at USAW Junior National Championships
- Placed top 4 at USAW Junior Regional
- Placed top 8 at USAW 16U National Championship
- Placed top 8 at UWW Cadet National Championship
- Placed top 6 at USAW State Junior Freestyle/Greco-Roman Championships
- Placed top 6 at USAW State 16U Freestyle/Greco-Roman Championships
- Placed top 4 at USAW Senior Regional
- Placed top 4 at New York Athletic Club International
- Placed top 4 at Dave Schultz Memorial International
- Competed in a Continental Championships/Games, World Championships/Games at any age level (5 yeat criteria does not apply)
- Any veteran athlete who has represented the U.S. within the last two years at the Veteran’s World
- Championships or is scheduled to compete at the next world championship event
- Waivered, first year collegiate athlete who was unable to compete because of USA Wrestling events cancelled due to Covid-19.
- “Grandfather” clause will apply to any previously RTC rostered athlete who met the “Top 4 Finish at a State Folkstyle Tournament” criteria.

This is required to become a member of the club. If you do not have a USA Card, you can get one at http://www.usawmembership.com. All USA Wrestling memberships expire on Aug 31, 2022, so renewal is mandatory.

By typing my name below, I agree to allow my child to be treated by a licensed physician, registered nurse, or athletic trainer while attending the MontCo Wrestling Club and assume all costs related to such treatment. I understand that the wrestler attending the MontCo Wrestling Club using any club facilities does so at his own risk. Ursinus College and MontCo Wrestling Club staff shall not be liable for any damages arising from personal injury sustained by the participant during the session and so hereby fully and forever exonerate and discharge the MontCo Wrestling Club, Ursinus College, staff, owners, employees, and agents, from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action or causes of action, present or future, whether the same be known, anticipated or unanticipated, resulting from or arising out of participation and in the use of the facilities.
COVID-19 WAIVER
In consideration of the being permitted to participate in any MontCo Wrestling Club event or activity, included but limited to, practices, scrimmages, matches, and other related events and activities, the undersigned understands, acknowledges and agrees that:                                                                                                                                                                                                     1. Participation in such events or activities by my child and/or myself involves possible exposure to and illness from infectious and/or communicable diseases including, but not limited to, COVID-19, MRSA, Influenza, and other communicable diseases. While adherence to rules and requirements may reduce the risk of possible exposure, the risk of serious illness and death remains; and                                                                                                                                                                                                    2. On behalf of my child and/or myself, I knowingly and freely ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Releasees of others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and 
3. On behalf of my child and/or myself, I for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representative and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS MontCo Wrestling Club, its employees, members, associations, partner clubs, sponsors, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event or activity in which I participate (“RELEASEES”), from and against any and all claims of whatever type or kind including any illness, death, disability, or other loss or damage to personal property, whether arising from the negligence of Releasees or otherwise to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, I expressly agree that this release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania or any other state in which my child and/or myself may participate in any event or activity described herein, and that if any portion of this release is determined to be invalid, it is agreed that the remaining provisions of this release shall continue in full force and effect. Finally, I further state that I have fully and carefully read the above release, understand the contents of the same and sign this release voluntarily as of my own free act and deed.                                                                                                                            Following the pronouncements above I hereby declare the following:                                                                                                       I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY, HOLD HARMLESS AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I, ON BEHALF OF MY CHILD AND/OR MYSELF, HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND SIGN FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.  This waiver will remain effective until laws and mandates relevant to COVID-19 are lifted.                                                     Signature:
