Globalize DC is a DC-based nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access for DC public school students to global education, language learning, and study abroad opportunities. Since 2016, Globalize DC has offered free Japan-related educational programs for DC public high school students:

- JAPANESE PLUS, created in 2016, is an afterschool Japanese language, culture, and career exposure program. Students meet twice weekly (for a minimum 5 hours) throughout the school year.

- JAPAN IN DC is our six-week summer program that exposes DC students to the city's people, places, organizations, and institutions with a connection to Japan.

- JAPAN IN DC BOOK is our 128-page, full color publication based on the writing, photography, and creative expressions of the students in our Japan in DC program. 100% of revenue from book sales benefit our Japan programs. - JAPANESE TAMAGO, created in 2020, is this school year's online Japanese program, offered to DC students in response to pandemic restrictions.

- JAPANESE TAMAGO #STOP ASIAN HATE PROJECT is a new effort that we are launching in response to the surge in anti-AAPI racism. This will be an educational effort, spearheaded by our students, designed to build understanding, empathy, and action.
