BEFORE APPLYING
Complete the following before filling out this application:
-Have a PDF copy of your resume ready that includes your educational background, descriptions of all managerial positions you have held, and a description of your current position. Your resume should also include how long you have held the positions and your job responsibilities.
-Inform your supervisor of the training requirements. Be sure that you can take the time away from the office that the program requires (300 hours over 2 years which averages to be about two days each month).
-Determine who is responsible for paying the program fees (yourself, your agency/organization, or a combination of both). For the 2019-2020 program year, trainings associated with the CPM program typically cost $125 for a one-day (7 hour) workshop and $225 for a two-day (14 hour) workshop. The cost for completing the entire CPM program is approximately $3,500 ($2,300 in the first year and $1,200 in the second year).
