An invitation to the Invention Convention Google Classroom will be sent when this form is completed. In March (date to be determined), judges from our school will review inventions and select students to move onto the virtual Connecticut Invention Convention (CIC). Students will then be selected from the CIC to move onto Nationals. Your child will need to gather all materials to build a working prototype (model) of the invention. Invention Convention rules require that materials cannot exceed $50 and highly recommend reused materials and NO spending at all (recyclables are great). I understand that guidance on project design for the  Invention Convention will be delivered via a series of instructional slide presentations and videos. Office hours will be available for any support needed.
