NLBA Band Student Scholarship Application (2023-2024)

The Newfoundland & Labrador Band Association (NLBA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support and advocate for wind bands across the province.

In an effort to celebrate student success in band, the NLBA is proud to provide an annual scholarship for a grade 12 band student, from any region of Newfoundland and Labrador, who exemplifies dedication to their band program. The successful candidate should display leadership, a degree of proficiency, and a genuine “love for band”.

Applicants must: 

(1) Be a member of their school concert band, jazz band, symphonic band, or wind ensemble.

(2) Intend to enrol in a post-secondary program, in any area, after graduating from high school.

(3) Complete the application below.

Note: Band Directors will be contacted to ensure candidates meet scholarship criteria.
