Brown Academy of International Studies is a public magnet school. We offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP), which provides students with a rigorous, internationally recognized curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and real-world application of knowledge. The school focuses on preparing students to be active, compassionate, and lifelong learners, equipped with the skills to thrive in a global society.

In the MYP, students engage with a broad and balanced range of subjects, develop essential skills through the Approaches to Learning (ATL), and explore real-world issues within the framework of Global Contexts. The program encourages inquiry-based learning, project-based assessments, and community service, aligning with the IB mission to develop students as globally minded citizens.

We are pleased to be offering school tours on some Monday and Friday mornings in October, November, December, and January. Students are invited to come with their families to walk around our campus and see all of the incredible learning that goes on here at Brown Academy of International Studies. We will have a letter from the school to provide to your current school for attendance purposes.
