Minimum entry numbers *
The committee reserve the right to cancel the event if entry numbers have not reached a minimum of 12 by closing date.  Anyone having paid will receive a full refund if cancelled due to lack of entries.

Insurance and Membership Requirements *
In order to enter this event you are required to be a member of the BBAC and the BBAC Competitions Club (membership of another NAC is an acceptable alternative), have a valid PPL/CPL for hot-air balloons, an FAI Sporting Licence, 50hrs P1 experience and the appropriate medical certificate. You are also required to have insurance as needed for your balloon to comply with EC directive EC785/2004, in force for the duration of the event.  You are entirely responsible for the safe operation of your balloon and your team. The Competitions Club accepts no liability on your behalf for any damage or injury to yourself or any third party.  If you wish to fly an observer on any flight you must have passenger liability cover. You will be asked to sign an insurance declaration sheet at registration, confirming that your insurance is in force for the duration of the event.
