We have no shortage of volunteer opportunities at Cognition! If you are interested in volunteering in a different way, please let us know in your responses below. Some of our available opportunities include:
Exhibit Interpretation – Can you "oink" and "moo" with the best of them? Then get over to Cognition's exhibit area and share those mad skills with visitors ages 0-10. Volunteers needed year-round.
Maker-in-Residence – Are you a maker extraordinaire that wants to share the tools of your trade with the community? Become a Maker-in-Residence at the Grady L. McClamrock, Sr Makerspace!
Special Events – Perfect for volunteers who love to jump in to help and are available evenings and weekends. Assist staff in a variety of ways, including crafts and activities, interacting with guests of all ages, serving food, and set-up/clean-up.
Education Program Assistant – Do you love science, art, and education? Assist Cognition staff during scheduled school field trips. Duties include assisting students with program activities, assisting Educators with clean up, and any other duties as needed. Volunteers needed weekdays 9 am – 2 pm during the school year.
