I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that participation in CoderDojo Los Alamos involves inherent risks and dangers that may lead to injury or harm to me that could cause serious disability or death. These risks may arise from my own actions, inactions, or negligence, as well as from the actions, inactions, or negligence of others, or the condition of the premises or any equipment used.

I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual or unnecessary hazard during my presence or participation, I will bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately. I understand and agree that I am responsible for my equipment and my own safety.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in CoderDojo Los Alamos, I release CoderDojo Los Alamos, Los Alamos Makers, SALA Event Center, their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives from liability from any and all claims including negligence resulting in personal injury, accidents, or illnesses (including death), and property loss arising from, but not limited to, participation in CoderDojo Los Alamos.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless CoderDojo Los Alamos, Los Alamos Makers, and SALA Event Center from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees brought as a result of my involvement in CoderDojo Los Alamos and to reimburse them for any such expenses incurred.

I hereby grant CoderDojo Los Alamos, Los Alamos Makers, and SALA Event Center the right to use photographs, video recordings, or any other media captured during my participation in CoderDojo Los Alamos, for any legal use, including but not limited to: publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content. I understand that there will be no compensation for the use of any images or media where my likeness appears.

The undersigned further expressly agrees that the foregoing waiver and assumption of risks agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of New Mexico and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
