Northern Ireland Trip Application
Thank you for your interest in the Grace Community Church Young Adults summer mission trip to Belfast, Northern Ireland. We will partner with the organization Friends International for this trip as they continue their long term work over there. This trip will be primarily working with international students on college campuses alongside members from local churches. We will have the opportunity to encourage the long term missionaries, experience cross cultural missions, grow in our relationship with God, and learn valuable missional skills. 
The trip will be approximately 16 days from June 21st until - July 7th.
The trip will cost approximately $1800 which we will do fundraising for.

Since we are partnering with Friends International, please review the following:
  • I completely agree with the statement of faith and am committed to follow the team principles

  • I understand that Friends International (Registered Charity 1094095) will keep a digital record of my details for maximum 5 years and will share them with the leaders of the team I have applied to

  • I understand that if I don’t arrange my own travel insurance, Friends International will not be responsible for my care or costs in the case of any problems

In submitting this application, you are agreeing to the following:

  • I am willing to work under the direction of the team leadership and field partners/missionaries to accept and to perform any and all assignments with a God-honoring attitude

  • I am confirming that I have the time and energy to devote to the pre, mid, and post-trip responsibilities.

  • I agree to participate in the training and complete all requirements for the trip.

  • I agree to return home at my own expense if the field partner/missionaries, in conjunction with the team leadership, determines my behavior is/has been inappropriate and therefore jeopardizing the long-term ministry.

  • I acknowledge that the church will not be responsible for extra trip expenses should these occur.

  • I understand that my involvement on this trip can be denied prior to travel if I do not participate in the full preparation of the trip

  • I acknowledge that Grace Community Church may not be responsible for extra trip expenses (i.e. airline, hotel, etc.)  Should these occur, they may be passed along to the traveler.

  • I understand that my application may be denied for this trip due to various other reasons such as team dynamics, number of other applicants, preference for those who have never been before, etc.
