Mentor Application
Word is Bond is seeking responsible, fun, and outgoing Black men ages 25-39 to serve as school year mentors for an incredible group of young Black men ages 15-21 years old here in Portland. The young men to be mentored come from a variety of backgrounds and need the support of strong Black male figures in their lives. Mentors must have reliable transportation, and be available to meet with their mentee two to three times a month beginning in mid October through the end of the school year in June. Activities can include academic support, job search support, pro-social activities and outings, goal setting, and problem solving.   If you or someone you know fits this description please complete our mentor application below.  #WordisBondPDX
