Choral Student Leadership 2023 Application and Nomination Form
SECTION LEADER Position description is as follows:

-Lead the section in sectional rehearsals. Serve as a positive and enthusiastic model for class and member of the ensemble.
-Lead by example in daily rehearsals in his/her section.
-Be a resource for other members of the section.
-Opportunities to facilitate warm-ups and manage rehearsals in Ms. Donovan’s absence.

All section leaders are also expected to:

1. Lead by example and exemplify positive engagement and enthusiasm in all classes

2. Serve as a voice for the chorus program and be visible with recruitment efforts

It is preferred and expected that a section leader be an upperclassman, but anybody may still apply regardless to expound on your Choral experiences and qualifications.

MUSIC LIBRARIAN Position description is as follows:

-Help with attendance, handle other assorted paperwork needs.
-Assist with organizing, handing out, collecting, and filing music.
-Maintain and update BHS Choral Library Spreadsheet.

The Music Librarian(s) may be a student of any grade level who is organized, timely, and responsible. This person could ALSO be a section leader.

PRODUCTION MANAGER Position description is as follows:

-Set up chairs for rehearsals when needed and aid with overseeing logistics.
-Assist with the logistical end of rehearsals and performances (if needed: risers, sound equipment, etc.)
-Facilitate moving pieces in regards to stage setup, transitions, and concerts with other ensembles involved. 

This person should be a point person on concert days. This person could ALSO be a section leader, but anybody who can command a room and is well respected by their peers is encouraged to apply for this position.
