Program Overview:

The Board recognizes that there are circumstances under which individuals do not have the financial means to play in the league. To help with this, a Player Assistance Program has been implemented to give everyone an opportunity to participate in the league by reducing the cost to play by up to 50% off the registration fee.

Players who are selected to receive Player Assistance are expected to help with League operations wherever possible (including keeping score/clock if needed).

Requirements:

• Fill out the form below in its entirety. Incomplete applications will not be accepted or considered by the board.
• All candidates must submit this online application to the Board by 12:00pm (noon) on Friday, September 1 or before registration fills up - whichever comes first. No late applications for Player Assistance will be accepted!
• Player assistance is open to all players planning to play in the Fall 2023 Season who are currently in good financial standing with the league.

Instructions for Applicants

If you are applying for Player Assistance, it is not necessary to register or send any payment at this time. Upon receipt of this form, a space will be held for you until the Board has voted and notified all applicants of the results. The vote will be held after all submissions are received. Forms will be collated by the Treasurer; names and contact info will be removed before the remaining members of the Board vote. The voting will be anonymous so that results are merit-based only, and all information you provide will be kept strictly confidential. Some Board members may be made aware of recipients' names after the vote in order to schedule them for clock/score, but the applications themselves will be discarded.

If you are not selected to receive Player Assistance but still want to play this season, you will still be eligible to pay the registration fee as it was on the date that you submitted your application. If you have already registered and made your full payment, and you are selected to receive Player Assistance, any excess payment will be refunded.
