Here are some guidelines for the youth fashion, arts and craft fair, which will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024 | Georgia Farrow Recreation Center (530 Davis Dr., Irving, TX 75061) | 11 a.m.-3 p.m.:
All artist and crafter selling must be sure that ALL items are 'HANDCRAFT'. This excludes direct sales, resale, wholesale, or imports. No exceptions and this will be strictly enforced.
Event Purpose and Theme:
The primary objective of the fair is to promote entrepreneurship among youth in the fashion, arts, and crafts industries with an emphasis on mentorship.
- To emphasize youth entrepreneurship in the fashion, arts, and crafts industry.
- Highlighting the importance of creativity, innovation, and business skills development among young participants.
- Provide youth with mentors by connecting with entrepreneurs/local business owners within their industry, etc.
Mentorship Program Vision:- Establish a mentorship program where experienced entrepreneurs, industry professionals, or local business owners can provide guidance and support to participating youth.
- Pair mentors and mentees based on their areas of interest and expertise.
- Implementation and success based on mentors and mentees availability (pilot program | more details to come)

Selling only handmade or home-baked items
Using only original designs
Not selling mass-produced items
Not selling items that are considered to be offensive or inappropriate
Create visually appealing and inviting displays that effectively represent your brand and products.

Not using open flames

Not leaving unattended booths
It is important for vendors to be familiar with all of the guidelines of the fair before participating. We will be in contact with you with additional details, if you are selected to participate in the upcoming fair.
Proceeds will assist with the following initiatives: Skill & Faith Athletes afterschool mentoring and Modeltude Agency's Life Skills Empowerment Institute.
