As part of our actions for the healthy involvement of the youth of our organisation, but also the wider involvement of young people with sports and the skills they can acquire through healthy activities, ACPELIA association will conduct a competition and survival activity in Pissouri, during the first fortnight of August, to develop healthy competitiveness between groups of young people through a healthy activity.
From the 3rd of August 2022 onwards, we intend to organise and set up a ‘battle track’ for survival games in a Survivor-type concept. The activity will continue until the competition lasts and will take place at the football field of Pissouri’s community. Through the survival games track (which will be inspired by the survival games of the corresponding TV game show ‘Survivor’) multiple sprints will be organised with the participating teams and the schedule will be adjusted according to the teams taking part in the survival game. It should be mentioned that the tracks that will be set up (2 tracks for the Adults category games, over 14 and 2 tracks for the Children category games, up to 14 years old) will be supervised by two Physical Instructors, who will undertake the setting up of the tracks in our Community stadium.
We aspire through the creation of this survival game, to bring the young people of our Community and the wider region together, in a unique sporting activity that we aim in establishing for the long-term, for our Community and our Association. We aim to have at least 40 to 50 teams of 5 people, who will compete in 2, in a sports competition that will last- depending on the participation of the teams- from 7 to 20 days. Teams can participate by applying online, something that will encourage the participation of many children, teenagers and young people. We consider this survival game, a perfectly healthy game because it shows the potential that the human body can reach through sports and healthy competition. We seek to have a participation of more than 200 young people depending on the different categories, from our Community and the wider region.
