The biosciences play a pivotal role in understanding life on earth from the molecular level to whole populations and ecosystems. It is an exciting and rapidly evolving area of research, with direct relevance to us for example climate change, biodiversity, health and wellbeing.

This survey aims to explore and understand perceptions towards this subject area and how to engage and support more people into this field especially mature students, women and underrepresented groups. With the purpose to equip and empower more students to enter and thrive in a career in biosciences.

To understand who is taking part in this survey I will segment the information based on demographics and interests. Such data will be de-identified and used for analytical purposes only. Analysis of this helps me to understand the mindset of applicants and ensure I tailor the resource content to meet the latest needs and expectations of learners who want to study biosciences or pursue bioscience careers. *This data will be kept for a period of 12 months
