The third annual Petaluma Wiffle Ball Tournament will be on Saturday, April 13 at the Miracle League field and Lucchesi turf field. 32 teams (local businesses, non-profits, etc) will compete all day in a double elimination tournament. It's a day filled with fun! For those of age who choose to indulge (the area is marked off), there will be a HenHouse beer and local wine garden, as well as a "Sonoma County's Best" silent auction.
We will be having an exhibition game from 12:00-12:30pm so the whole town of Petaluma can see what Miracle League North Bay is all about! Same format as normal, the wiffle ball teams will be assisting as buddies, so come prepared to hit those home runs!
Please arrive at 11:45am wearing your Miracle League Jersey from a prior season. If you don't have one yet, reach out to Sarah at smarciamlnb@gmail.com and she'll get you one! We'll pair you up with a buddy and we'll hit the field at 12:00pm.
The Polly Klaas Home Run Derby will run from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. We need folks to "staff" the derby, which would entail tallying the amount of home runs each person hits. Miracle League athletes, their families and their friends are all welcome to volunteer for the derby in 90 minute shift (or shorter if needed). For those who do not want to count/tally home runs, they can cheer on the hitter! And when no one is hitting for the derby, athletes are welcome to hit too!
