This class meets Mondays, Sept. 14 – Nov. 16
Class time: 6:15 pm - 8:15 pm (includes 10 min. break)
Location: Phinney Ridge Neighborhood Association (6532 Phinney Ave N, Seattle WA 98103)

Class Description:
This class is an optimal refresher to learners of German who would like to improve their communication skills related to routine activities in the present and the colloquial past (Präsens & Perfekt). Targeted levels: A1.2-A2.1 (CEFR)/Novice Mid/High (ACTFL).

Some of the topics covered:
Conversing about past activities and events
Talking about one’s home: living arrangements and house-chores
Navigating the city and the neighborhood, means of transportation and making travel arrangements
Describing the geography of a country/region
New grammar structures include two-way prepositions for location and destination, the comparison of adjectives, and
the simple past of haben and sein.
This course covers chapters 6 and 7 in the textbook (Kontakte)
