Research Request

Thank you for your interest in our research services. Research Requests typically take 1-2 weeks or less & payment is required before the research can be completed. Research findings will be provided to the requester upon discovery. The Oil Region Library Association cannot guarantee that your request will be fulfilled. Please note research donations are not refundable and payment is required before research will be started. We cannot guarantee that we will find what you are looking for, nor how long it will take. However, if, after the first hour we do not find what you requested, we will contact you to see if you would like additional research.

  • $5.00 per item - an "item" includes 1 obituary/birth announcement/wedding announcement, etc., 1 article occurring during a known date range, a specific directory listing or cemetery record, etc.
  • $20.00 per hour - hourly research includes multiple "items" or more extensive research on a particular person/topic.
