Gerald Augusto Campership 2024
This fund was set up at the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation in memory of
Gerald Augusto. It is designated to grant one or more camperships annually to matriculating or current elementary or middle school students for the study of the natural
sciences at Audubon each summer.
Who is eligible?
This campership is available to children aged 5 – 14 years, who experience barriers preventing them access to a quality, nature-based camp experience. Barriers may include, but are not limited to, financial resources, a lack of transportation, work/childcare
conflicts, language, or a combination. At this time, ACNC is able to assist
only in easing financial barriers but hopes to address others in the future and
is collecting information to inform those efforts.
What is involved?
Fill out the application below. ACNC will award camperships based on need (number and type of barriers indicated), and may offer partial or full scholarships. Camperships
are only awarded in the form of tuition to ACNC Day Camps and have no monetary
value outside the organization.
