Train at White Heron Theatre Company and Perform at Theatre Workshop of Nantucket, all in one summer!  Teen Program-July & August 2023

We are excited that you and your child are considering enrolling in our new teen company offering 'The Collaboration'. Please see details about the program below.

About the partnership:
Students will work with both White Heron Theatre Company and Theatre Workshop of Nantucket. This is a partnership in programming, but applicants must apply to BOTH companies via their individual websites and payment is to be made separately to each theatre company. 

What the week looks like:
Mondays 10-1pm at White Heron- Students will attend a 'Musical Theatre Auditions/Self Tape & Cabaret' course once a week at White Heron Theatre Company's studio rehearsal room (5 N. Water St).   In this masterclass series, students will work on 1-2 audition songs of their choice (musical theatre, pop/rock or original compositions); Each student will leave the summer with a piano recording of each song, have a staged audition piece, as well as a self tape of each audition song for future submissions. There will also be consultation for each student around headshots/resumes, as well as information about the college audition process (if applicable). These classes will also culminate in a public performance onstage at White Heron Theatre, where all students will share what they’ve been working on.

Specific Dates-July 10, 17, 24 & 31
Cabaret Performance Date- TBD (Likely first week of August); this is a sharing of classwork for the public
Cost per student- $225 (total for 4 classes and performance);
Check to be made out to White Heron Theatre Company and mailed to 5 N Water St, Nantucket MA 02554. Payment to White Heron due by June 1, 2023. Please let us know if you prefer to pay via credit card or Venmo.

Tuesdays-Fridays 10-2pm at Theatre Workshop- Students will work on a full production of 'Grease' with a professional director, choreographer, and music director and with the support of the Theatre Workshop team of professional creatives. The program will culminate in three performances onstage in Bennett Hall.
Rehearsal dates- July 11-August 8
Performance dates- August 9, 10, 11
Cost per student- $1200
