We praise God for your interest in leading a Bible Study here at Nashville UMC, a community of saints, seeking to save the unsaved, sanctify the saved, and spread scriptural holiness over all the land.

We believe we have a high and holy calling to “keep sound teaching” (2 Timothy 1:12), “to present everyone fully mature in Christ” (Colossians 1:28) and to “contend for the faith delivered to us” (Jude 3).

With this calling comes the document that we are asking you to fill out.

Please know, you are asked to fill this form out, not because you are untrustworthy or suspicious, but to ensure that the doctrines and theology that are taught and proclaimed here are, in harmony with, and flowing out of Scripture.

It’s a joy to grow as disciples and we want to do it in the clearest way possible and this helps us, as a church, ensure we are offering Bible studies that will complement each other, and also, ones that ensure we are going on towards perfection, as is our call from Christ.

You are asked to read and sign that you are in agreement with, and to covenant with us to teach that which is in accordance with our doctrines and theology which are in harmony with, and flow out of Scripture.

Below are the basic steps as to being a Discipleship Leader at NMC…
1) Stirring from the Holy Spirit that leads to abiding Prayer
2) Carefully read through, “What We Believe”, found on church website or in office
3) Complete and submit the form below.
4) Abide in Prayer and Church Office will respond within 5-7 business days as to next steps

Our post resurrection command from Christ to make disciples is not to be taken lightly, so we thank you for taking the time to faithfully pray how God is calling you to make disciples.
