Tryon Creek Watershed Council's 15th Annual Watershed Wide Event

9am-12pm, Saturday March 9, 2024

Pizza party afterwards! (2-9 min drive from sites)

Join us in supporting the unique urban Tryon Creek watershed by volunteering with us to remove invasive plant species and plant native plants. This is TCWC’s largest annual volunteer event!

Volunteer event locations (more information will be sent closer to the date):

- Boonesferry Terrace Greenspace, near Riverdale High School *planting!*

- Lake Oswego United Church of Christ (TCWC project area)

- Lewis & Clark College

- Tryon Life Community Farm

- Lake Oswego High School (LOHS Green Team + Oswego Lake WC)

NOTE: You can also sign up to be a flexible volunteer, and go wherever we need the most pairs of hands! This is super helpful and we thank you for considering it!

Volunteer notes:
- Dress in layers for the weather (hats, close-toed shoes you can get muddy, etc.) and bring your own, full water bottle and snacks. We encourage you to consider a change of shoes/clothes, even if we have clear skies, so that muddy boots don't keep you from the pizza party afterwards!
- Gloves and tools will be provided as needed; please consider bringing your own if you are able (tools will depend per site – we’ll email you details).

- Masks are welcomed, and please stay home if you have been exposed, are experiencing symptoms, and/or test positive for COVID-19 (& other illnesses). We strongly encourage and appreciate testing beforehand to avoid asymptomatic transmission.

- We are returning to paper-only waivers, day-of. No need to fill anything out ahead of time.
