Thank you for contacting St John's Cathedral Counselling Service. Please note the following regarding our counselling service:

1) The counselling service is available regardless of religion, residency status, ethnic group, age, gender, and sexual orientation. The counselling service can be conducted in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, French, Dutch, Hindi, Sindi, Indonesian, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Tagalog.

2) Each counselling session is generally 50 minutes long. Sometimes a longer duration for sessions is required to achieve the mutually agreed goal, such as in relationship counselling or family therapy or by request of the client.

3) The fee for each 50 minute counselling session is decided upon the level of counsellor you would like to see. Payment can be made by cheque, cash, EPS or credit card (American Express, VISA, MasterCard).

4) Sessions are by appointment only. Our offices are open Monday to Saturday 9am to 9pm. A 24 hour cancellation notice applies to confirmed appointments, this is to ensure that rooms can be released for another appointment.

5) All sessions are private and confidential. All your personal information and what you discuss with your counsellor will be kept confidential unless in urgent and/or critical situations.

6) You will be contacted by a counsellor within 3 working days. Your counsellor will negotiate a mutually agreed appointment with you. In the event of a crisis or emergency, please call 999 for emergency services or visit the nearest A&E hospital/medical clinic.
