CHAIR OF THE CONNECTOME PROJECT APPLICATION 
The Neuroscience Foundation is actively seeking a dynamic individual to assume the role of Connectome Project Chair. The Connectome Project's mission has played a pivotal role in attracting partners and individuals passionate about neuroscience, all united in their commitment to reshaping the future of brain science. Within the Connectome Project, there are two exciting segments: Synaptic Connections and Neuroscience Coffee Talks that the Chair will be in charge of: 

1. Synaptic Connections: We are currently developing a mentorship program that fosters close interaction between students and professionals in the fields of Neuroscience and Psychology. 

2. Neuroscience Coffee Talk: Similar to the Synaptic Connections program, this opportunity allows mentors and students to participate in our monthly events. Students can join a Zoom session to listen to your advice and insights. They will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions about several topics. 

Moreover, we maintain an ongoing opportunities page that highlights global prospects for professional growth within the field.

Requirements:

- The role entails a minimum time commitment of two or more hours per week, including administrative duties such as overseeing all students in the team, personally connecting with mentors, recruiting new mentors, delegating tasks for foundation growth, motivating students to complete assignments, and ensuring that students thrive and learn in their field. In essence, you will have the chance to transform this project into a transformative experience for students and neuroscience enthusiasts.

- Applicants must be either in high school or enrolled in an undergraduate university program.

- You must have a Zoom account with the ability to create, host, and record meetings and mentorship events, as our foundation serves an international audience.

- Effective communication skills are essential to relay information professionally to students, mentors, and other stakeholders.

-Must COMMIT TO ONE YEAR as a CHAIR OF THE CONNECTOME PROJECT
