தேசிய உழவர்கள் தினமான இன்று, இந்தியக் குடிமகனாகிய நான் ,

•உழவர்களின் உரிமைகளைக் காக்கவும், அவர்களின் எண்ணற்ற தியாகங்களை பிறர்க்கு உணர்த்தவும் மேலும் அவர்களின் வளர்ச்சிக்காகவும் பாடுபடுவேன் என்றும்,

• உழவர்களின் உரிமைகளை நிலைநாட்டுவேன் என்றும் அவர்களின் வாழ்க்கைத் தரத்தை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காக எப்பொழுதும் ஆயத்தமாக இருப்பேன் என்று உளமார உறுதி கூறுகிறேன்.

• உழவர்களின் பெருமையும் உழவுப்பொருட்களின் இன்றியமையாமையையும் உணர்ந்து  அவைகளை முறையாக பயன்படுத்துவேன் என்று உறுதியளிக்கிறேன்.

• நீர் வளத்தையும் மண் வளத்தையும் என்னால் இயன்ற அளவு பாதுகாப்பேன் என்று உறுதி கூறுகிறேன்.

• சிறு விவசாயிகளிடம் பேரம் பேசாமல் பொருட்களை நியாய விலை கொடுத்து வாங்குவேன் என்று உறுதியளிக்கிறேன்.

•இந்தியா ஒரு விவசாய நாடு. எனவே இந்திய மண்ணையும் மனிதர்களின் நலனையும் பேணுவதே என் வாழ்நாள் கடமையாக இருக்குமென்றும் உறுதியளிக்கிறேன்.

On the occasion of National Farmer's day, I as a citizen of India solemnly vow,

I will respect the Farmers for their unparalleled hard work they put in for ensuring food security of the nation, despite their hardships and challenges.

I will protect their rights and support them by consuming the agricultural products without wasting them.

I will protect the fertility of the soil and purity of water without polluting them.

I will not involve in any unfair bargain with farmers and will ensure that they get reasonable price for their farm products.
