Branded is a Youth Entrepreneurship Conference focused on Black, Newcomer and MVP (Most Vulnerable People) entrepreneurs between the ages of 18-30. For the past 10 years Branded has remained the hub for young entrepreneurs to connect with others and receive important business supports.
A key feature of every Branded conference is our signature pitch event, where five entrepreneurs will have five minutes each to present their business ideas to a panel of judges for a newly increased combined prize pool of $23,000:
👉 First place: $10,000
👉 Second place: $7,000
👉 Third place: $4,000
👉 Fourth place: $1,000
👉 Fifth place: $1,000
The pitch event will take place on August 12th at Artscape Daniels Launchpad (East Tower, 130 Queens Quay E. 4th Floor) from 6 - 9pm.

📅August 12 – Finalists pitch their ideas live, winners are announced!
The pitch and this application are stage and sector agnostic, allowing participants from all stages of the
entrepreneurship journey to apply. Without giving away too much information –
pitch applicants will be judged on the following:
- Product Offering is Concise and Clear
- Market Research
- Marketing
- Entrepreneur's Skills
and Passion
- Use of Funding
- Business Traction or
Financial Feasibility
- Presentation Skills
and Visual Aids
