2019 Packapalooza™ Volunteer Interest
This form is to be used by volunteers to sign-up for Packapalooza. This event will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 2pm-10pm. As a volunteer, you have the ability to indicate your availability. Keep in mind that it will take hundreds of people to help us execute this event. Set up will begin at 6am and go until 1pm, the event is from 2pm - 10pm, with tear down starting at 7pm for some parts of the street going until at least 1am after the event ends. Each person must be able to volunteer at least a three hour time block. We will do our best to honor your submission, but we may need to ask you for flexibility with your schedule.

We are also seeking Super Volunteers that will manage groups of 8 - 10 people to assist with the set-up and kick off of the event. You will meet with the planning committee prior to the event for training and to familiarize yourself with the footprint of the event. We are looking for people that are early risers with good leadership skills and who can commit to the entire time frame from 5:30am-3pm. You will be provided with a t-shirt, light breakfast, lunch, and access to the VIP area for the headliner's performance.

Someone from our team will contact volunteers with instructions and more information the week of August 19.  Any submissions received after August 9, may not be guaranteed for preferred t-shirt size. After you register, you will receive a confirmation email within 72 hours that has instructions to complete a 30 minute online crowd management certification that is required by the City of Raleigh. This will need to be completed by 11:59pm on Tuesday August 20 AT THE LATEST. If you have volunteered with us in the past you do not need to complete this online module again.

There will be informational sessions the week of August 19 sharing an overview of the event, including volunteer roles and responsibilities. You will receive more details with your confirmation. It is strongly encouraged for all volunteers to attend one of these sessions.
