Stuyvesant Red Cross is a club designed to bring local volunteer opportunities to those of you who truly want to help out around your community and throughout the city. With over 400 members, we are one of the largest clubs at Stuyvesant and the largest Red Cross Club in the Greater NY Region, which also means that you will have plenty of opportunities to meet students of all grades and to help out at various events! This year will be our 15th year of existence (est. 2007), and it is you that makes this club function and prosper.

At first, you may think of us as just another club you joined to add the name to your resume, but with time, you will come to see that despite the large number of members, we are a tightly-knit community, and the memories you make during your time as a Stuyvesant Red Cross volunteer will last a lifetime. Not only will we help you create valuable memories, we will also provide you with opportunities to meet many people within and outside of our school, whether they be from Stuyvesant, other schools, or simply other participants of the event. This club can become a consistent part of your years in high school. There will be granted opportunities to volunteer at events during the school year and over the course of the summer. Joining this club will allow you to give back to the community, make new friends, and of course, bring more joy to your high school experience!

We also offer a chance for our members to rise to leadership status starting from freshman year! Being a Red Cross member is rewarding simply by itself, but being a leader allows you to develop leadership skills, meet new people, and become a more important part of the Red Cross family!

We have an hours requirement of 40 hours to be eligible to attend the Awards Ceremony at the end of the service year. You earn hours when you volunteer with our club at our various events, and certain events may offer extra hours. We have events in school, in our community, and around the city! Once you fill out this form, you will be added to our Google group, allowing you to receive all our emails and updates! A confirmation email will be sent to you by Google when you have been added. (It may take up to a week for you to receive the email).
