THE JCA WAY: PARENTING LABS & CAMPER PLAY DAYS

Join Camp JCA Shalom to discover our Parenting Lab & Camper Play Days — a new series designed to showcase what we call The JCA Way. Parents will engage in an immersive conversation with our Director of Mental Health, Lauren Allenberg, LCSW, in the Parenting Lab, while campers dive into some favorite camp activities with our beloved JCA counselors. Look forward to an interactive learning and fun experience geared toward both first-time camp families and current JCA families.

PARENTING LAB PRESENTS: JCA's Approach to Tackling Intense Feelings and Difficult Conversations

We will explore ways to engage with your children when feelings are intense, find the optimal moments to let your children feel heard and share how to initiate the harder-to-discuss topics.
