This class runs as part of the Thursday HASCA Hub Programme alongside other classes & activities.

2021 THEME: ANIMALS IN ART

When: Thursdays 11:00am to 12:00pm, 8 weeks, 13th May to 1st July

Where:  HASCA Hub, YMCA North Shore, 5 Akoranga Drive, Northcote (Squash Court 3)

Who: Home educated students aged 5-12 (Years 1-8+). If older students wish to attend, they will be welcome.

What: This year we are looking at how animals have been depicted in art. Each week we will first learn about a variety of art and artists for ten to fifteen minutes, then we will use a number of different mediums to produce our own artwork using techniques or styles similar to or inspired by the week's topic.

These art classes have a relaxed atmosphere, with conversation and lots of fun together, as well as some great learning going on.

Parents are welcome to either stay to help or leave their children. Parents of younger children are especially encouraged to stay, although all are welcome.

Fees (8 weeks):
HASCA MEMBERS $64.00 per student
NON MEMBERS $69.00 per student

Includes materials.

Fees are payable to Kate promptly at the end of the term, to allow Kate to charge an accurate amount depending on Covid-19 alert levels (meaning no refunds will be necessary if we have to cancel any weeks at Level 3-4).
Kate will advise bank details and your fees at the end of the term.
