UoN Public Sexual Harassment (PSH) Testimonies
Survey should take just a few minutes to complete.

Testimonies submitted to us are stored on our secure database and are used anonymously within advocacy on social media, in research, and in submissions to the UK government. Our Streets Now are advocating for public sexual harassment to be made a criminal offence within the UK. You can withdraw your information at any time by emailing ourstreetsnow.uon@gmail.com

We are collecting your stories of public sexual harassment for 3 key reasons:

1. Supporting victims -
Telling your story is important, and empowering. It can reduce the impact of the incident on your mental health.

2. Evidence -
We need to transform these negative experiences into positive change. Having thousands of stories showing the prevalence and impact of PSH forces people to listen, and provoke a change to end this violence.

3. Commonality without erasure
It's really important for us to have as many stories as possible to highlight the fact that interlocking forces of oppression make individual experiences of harassment differ significantly. Our Streets Now is absolutely committed to showing the full range of PSH and we use hundreds of different testimonies to do just this.

(current campaign testimonies can be found here: https://www.ourstreetsnow.org/our-stories).

Please add your voice and your story.

The form will just take a few minutes to fill in and make an enormous difference.

Tell us your story of public sexual harassment: you can share as little or as much as you like. Including details of what happened is useful, as is saying how often you are harassed (weekly/monthly/never) and who harasses you (older or younger/ perceived gender/ lone or group) but also how it makes you feel and if it changes your everyday life. Including comments about how your personal experience is affected by other forms of oppression (racism, transphobia, ableism, homophobia etc) is also welcome.
Do you consent to having your name and age stored on the database? (when used, testimonies are anonymous) *
If you answered yes to the previous question, what is your name and age?
