Idea
As we approach the second coming of our Jewish King Jesus, we can see his Spirit completing the work of reconciliation of the Jewish people and all nations in the church he designed from the beginning. This course will take us through God's great plan in seven sessions: we will begin with the vision and prototype in the Old and New Testament (focusing especially on the Book of Romans), and then learn how the church lost its Jewish heart. We will look at the history of Gentile and Jewish mission, which will lead us to the topic of the work of the Holy Spirit among Jews and Gentiles since 1967. We will conclude with the key role of Messianic Jewish Movement in the unity of the church and the vision of Towards Jerusalem Council II.
FormThe course will include worship and times of prayer, two Shabbat dinners and a visit to Vienna to learn about repentance for Christian antisemitism. Learning from our international teachers will then be applied in practical sessions, and there will be lots of time for building friendships and serving together.

Session Four - How the Church Lost its Jewish Heart (history of the parting of the ways and Christian antisemitism)
speaker: Johannes Fichtenbauer (Archdeacon in Vienna RC diocese; President of European Network of Communities; wrote Mystery of the Olive Tree)
Session Five, part one - History of the Mission to the Nations
speaker: David Dawson (Taught for over 25 years at YWAM's University of the Nations which operates in 160 countries; has lived in Brazil & Portugal)
Session Five, part two - History of the Mission to the Jewish People
speaker: Dr Richard Harvey (Past president of the International Messianic Jewish Alliance; researcher in Messianic history: https://jewinthepew.org)
Session Six - The Holy Spirit and Jerusalem Since 1967 (moves of the Holy Spirit in charismatic and Catholic world, and rise of Messianic Judaism)
speaker: Dr Daniel Juster (Senior Messianic leader since 1970s, based in Israel and ministering worldwide; theologian and author of many books)
Session Seven - The Role of Messianic Jews in Church Unity (with a focus on Towards Jerusalem Council 2, its origins, vision & practice)
speaker: Revd Canon Brian Cox (Founding member of TJCII; President of Institute for Faith-Based Diplomacy, with experience in many conflict zones)
