2024 South Washington Watershed District Plan Update
Please answer ten quick questions about lakes, rivers, and wetlands in your area.

The South Washington Watershed District (SWWD) is a special purpose local unit of government that covers portions of ten communities in southern Washington County. We manage water resources such as lakes, streams, and wetlands to reduce the risk of flooding and protect water quality.

SWWD is currently seeking input from people who live, work and recreate in our area to help shape our 2026–2035 Watershed Management Plan. We'd like to know what issues concern you the most and where you'd like to see us focus our attention in the coming years.
