I work at a University in Melbourne, Australia.

This survey has 7 questions, should take around 5 to 10 minutes, and is for those in Law Enforcement to respond to.

Why?

It is motivated by trying to increase the safety of Officers and civilians in specific situations. From your answers certain assumptions can be tested to see if they are valid. The assumptions are not revealed at this time as that may influence the results.

This is the first of two similar surveys. Same questions, different locations. The second will be released once there is some data gathered by this survey.

Why you?

Your input, time, and expertise is very much appreciated. It is especially important as US LE has significantly more experience in these events than Australian law enforcement agencies.

Confidentiality

All responses are confidential. All information is used specifically for the reason stated above and is stored on secure servers. All data stays in the Google cloud ecosystem, with tight access restrictions in place.
