Makah Days Grand Parade Application

Neah Bay, Washington

• 8:00am Registration begins at the intersection of BACKTRACK and WAADAH VIEW DRIVE, Neah Bay, WA 98357
• Please check-in at the registration table and receive your parade line-up number. Display your number on the right side (passenger side) of your entry. Announcers will announce your entry based on the information provided on the publicity section of this application.
• Line up begins at 8:30 am starting at Popeye’s Park. All spots will be numbered. Numbers will be provided once registration is returned to MDC Parade Coordinators.
• 9:00am Judging begins float judging and parade line-up will take place at the Makah Museum starting at 8:30am. Please plan to arrive in a timely manner to check in.
• Starting this year, There are 3 Categories that are going to receive Cash Prizes: Best Designed Makah Days Themed Entry, Most Original, and Most Humorous. Each of the aforementioned will receive one hundred Dollars. To be eligible, you must enter you application no later than August 24, 2023. 
• 10:00am Parade begins! Parade will commence at precisely 10:00am. 
• We are asking ALL parade participants to please plan in advance having volunteers to hand out candy or giveaways (DO NOT THROW CANDY INTO THE CROWD) please be respectful and consider the safety of spectators. 
• All entries must maintain a forward motion and may not stop for long periods of time to perform or hand out candy along the parade route. Please keep the parade moving! Thank you for your cooperation!
