2023-24 Minneapolis Elections              Parent Permission Form
Thanks for supporting your student in being an election judge in the city of Minneapolis. High school students are vital members of the teams that run our polling places on Election Day. Student election judges help set up their polling place, check in voters, distribute ballots, and direct voters through the process. At the end of the day, they help reconcile voting records and close down the polling station.

Please fill out this form so we can schedule your student to work with us in 2023-24. Election judges attend a 3-hour training to prepare them to work. Most students choose to work the full day, from 6 am to around 9:30 pm. We also have half-day shifts available upon request: opening (6 am to 2 pm) or closing (2 pm to 9:30 pm). Election judges are paid $17.15 an hour,
