Service Opportunities

We have many ways to volunteer at St. David’s, take a look at the list below are you being called to serve?

Worship: Altar Guild, Acolyte, Zoom Technology Volunteer, Chancel Choir, Handbell Choir, Greeter, Gospel Band, Lay Eucharistic Minister, Lector (reads Sunday lessons), and usher.

Christian Education: Lifelong Learning Committee, Church School Teacher, Summer Sunday School Volunteer, Christian Service Brigade.

Pastoral Care: Lay Eucharistic Visitor, Daughters of the King, Prepare/Deliver food, Transportation, Emergency Childcare, Caregiver Relief.

Outreach Volunteer: St. David's Food Pantry, South Oakland Shelter, Deliver Food Baskets, Crossroads Soup Kitchen, Detroit Rescue Mission, Haiti Mission, Vandenberg School Tutor, Drive Thru Ashes, Newcomer’s Committee.

Social: Prepare food dishes, Set up dining room/serve, Clean up, Kitchen Help, Bowling, Quilters.

Administration: Finance Committee, Money counter, development, Office volunteer, prepare mailings, Diocesan Convention Delegate, Vestry Member.

Communications: Video storyteller, website development, newsletter editor/contributor.
