MSCA 2024 Fall Conference Workshop Proposal Form

MSCA relies on member-presented workshops in order to provide the most relevant information to our conference attendees.  Please fill out the below form to submit a workshop proposal for the 2024 Fall Conference, which will be held on November 3-5 at the Tan-Tar-A Conference Center in Osage Beach, MO. The deadline to submit proposals is August 1, 2024.

For your proposal to be considered, this completed form must be submitted no later than August 1, 2024.  Please note that this form may only be submitted electronically. 

MSCA is unable to provide expense reimbursement to workshop presenters. Workshop presenters that plan to attend the full conference must also register and pay the registration fees.

Terms and Conditions - MSCA greatly appreciates individuals who volunteer their time and expertise to present a workshop at the Fall Conference. Expertise of volunteer presenters ensures MSCA can provide a high quality professional development opportunity for all school counselors. Unfortunately, MSCA cannot provide an honorarium for presenters, nor reimbursement for expenses. Presenters planning to attend conference must also register at applicable registration rates. Please indicate below that you are willing to abide by these terms.

Room Arrangement and Equipment
  • All rooms will be set up theater style due to limited size of workshop rooms. Each workshop room will be supplied with a podium.
  • Presentation rooms will be equipped with a LCD projector, internet connections and projection screen.
  • Presenters should bring their own laptop for the presentation.
  • Any other audio visual needs should be requested on the workshop contract, if workshop is selected.
Slides
Presenters are asked to please provide an electronic version of slides to MSCA by November 1, 2024 (Selected presenters will be notified on method of submission.) Slides will be linked to the workshop grid in advance of the conference so participants can make their own copies.
