Thank-you for your interest in the 2023 Midtown Toronto Community Spring Clothing Swap! This event is run by volunteers.

This Spring we are partnering with Glebe Road United Church, just off Yonge street at the corner of Glebe and Tullis. It will be an opportunity to PASS ON your well-loved clothes, PICK UP some new ones, and learn some ideas/techniques for helping your clothes last longer through repair and upcycling.

We need volunteers- people to spread the word, hands to help on the day with set up and take down. we need donors and shoppers and you can also come by and help us make more shopping bags for the shop- sewing amchines on hand, no experience needed.

This swap is for all ages and sizes, clothing/shoes in good shape only, though we will have a upcycle station if you want to learn how to repair (or upcycle) your overly worn clothes.

Works-in-Progress will provide up-cycled t-shirt bags for sale for shoppers to fill ($5/bag or pay-what-you-can, to help cover swap material costs) and possibly some upcycled crafts/ repair zines. Glebe Road United will provide the space and will accept donations in the week proceeding the swap.
