Call for Family Recipes Passed Down
The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is excited to host Rowan’s second DEI Day on March 22, 2023 from 11am-2pm in the Student Center Ballroom. DEI Day is a day to celebrate Cultural Diversity. The event features a full day of activities, games, food and more.

YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE by sharing family recipes that represent your heritage and culture to be featured in the cookbook on DEI Day and for a chance for Gourmet Dining to select your recipe for tasting. Although we will accept submissions to the cookbook throughout the year, to be sure your recipe is featured on DEI day, please complete your submission by March 2, 2023.

If you wish to add a dedication page to your recipe, we are happy to accommodate you. The dedication page may consist of photos, a story or poem paying tribute to your family or the family member responsible for passing down the recipe. Sharing your recipe will go a long way in recognizing and keeping a diversity of long-time traditions and cultures very much alive.

To submit a recipe, please complete this form. For questions regarding your submission, please contact Deon Davis at davisdeon@rowan.edu.

Thank you to those who have already submitted a family recipe for inclusion. Please be on the lookout for new added recipes as they arrive.
