You Are Here is an interactive project designed to illuminate our relationship to ourselves, loved ones, and community. This project is for anyone who's experienced connection or disconnection, compassion or indifference, belonging or longing.
Join data artist Sarah Emery Clark and the Belonging 125 team in sharing your community experience through this online survey. The anonymous reflections you contribute today will be interpreted in a public artwork, co-created with the community. Explore our collective stories and witness the shape that emerges on June 10th at Cumberland's 125th.
Your participation is anonymous and valued. Estimated time: 5-10 minutes.
* while responses gathered after midnight on June 6th may not be recorded in the community artwork, your experience is valuable to the emerging story of belonging. Thanks for your participation!

Acknowledgements:
The stories we’re sharing today are but a glimmer of those that have come before... the stories of the Pentlatch, E’iksan, Sahtloot and Sasitla First Peoples. Our investigation of community and belonging necessitates a deeper acknowledgement. Before we begin, I’ll ask that we all keep reconciliation in mind as we think about this land we call home.
I'd like to thank Heritage Canada, the Comox Valley Arts Council, Elevate the Arts and the Village of Cumberland for their support of this project.
