2022-23 Cohort Q Board Application
Cohort Q is the graduate student organization for students who identify as LGBTQ+ and allies. Our mission is serve both the LGBTQ+ and larger graduate student population by providing networking and social opportunities, a forum to discuss LGBTQ+ issues in the workplace, and a community of support for LGBTQ+ students.  Below are the open position(s):

The President is responsible for organizing meetings and performing other various duties required by the organization. The President is the signatory for any forms or approvals required by the organization.

The VP of Finance is responsible for all financial matters of the organization and is the signatory for the funds of the organization and provide secretarial support, include taking notes at meeting and helping to organize Cohort Q documents in Google Drive or other database.

The VP of Marketing and Communications is responsible for maintaining the organization’s membership list via QuestromCommons and producing and sending out communication materials, such as social media posts, event flyers, monthly newsletter, etc.

The VP of Alumni Relations and Outreach is responsible for maintaining and updating the alumni lists and communicating to alumni, as appropriate. Outreach responsibilities include communicating club activities and events to other affinity groups and clubs in conjunction with the President.

The VP of Events is responsible for creating and maintaining event pages on QuestromCommons, assisting the VP of Marketing & Communications with event communications, and organizing events for the club, including Thirsty Thursdays/Cheers to Queers, Cohort Q Gala, etc.
