Like many areas of our world economy, the hospitality sector has taken a humongous and crippling blow in 2020. The Beehive officially reopened on 3 June after 3 months of lockdown and we had a steady trickle of guests from July to mid October. We are now in the midst of a second wave of the virus and tourism has once again disappeared. It's going to be a very slow and long road to recovery. It will take some time before we see somewhat normal numbers of visitors again and so we still need help getting through this challenging period.

We are continuing to sell gift cards at this link which can be used for accommodation, cooking classes, breakfast and dinners. Please do note that in regards to accommodation, we have a very limited number of rooms with ensuite bathroom and our Sweets room are not available for use with the voucher. Purchasing a gift card either for yourself, a friend, or family member no matter how big or small can help us survive. Donations are also very welcome.
